Privacy Policy
What mrD-Indicators collects about you, how that data is used and shared, what your rights are, and how to exercise them.
mrD-Indicators is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the platform, how we use it, who we share it with, how we secure it, and what control you have over it. By using the site or any of our services you consent to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect two broad categories of information:
- Personal information. When you register, contact us, or buy a paid plan, we collect data such as your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details. Payment information is captured at the moment of purchase by our PCI-compliant payment processors — we do not store full card data on our servers.
- Non-personal information. We collect data that cannot be used to identify you on its own — IP address, browser type, device characteristics, browsing history within the platform, and usage analytics. This information helps us understand how the platform is used and where to improve it.
- Cookies and tracking technologies. We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to remember your session, your preferences, and your interaction history with the site. You can control cookies via your browser settings (see Cookies and tracking below).
How we use information
We use what we collect to:
- Provide and improve the services. Personal information lets us deliver your account, respond to support requests, process transactions, and maintain plan-tier entitlements. Aggregate/non-personal data helps us analyse trends, administer the site, and improve the experience.
- Communicate with you. We use your contact details to send important notifications (security, billing, plan changes) and — separately — product or marketing updates. You can opt out of marketing communication at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails.
- Personalise your experience. Preference data lets us tailor defaults (theme, default symbols, panel layout, alert routing) to how you actually use the platform.
- Ensure security. We use information about access patterns and account behaviour to detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access, and to enforce these Terms of Use.
Sharing information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited cases:
- Service providers. We work with third parties who help us operate the platform — hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
- Legal obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, the safety of our users, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any choice you may have.
Information security
We implement reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Please help us protect your account by:
- Using a strong, unique password.
- Never sharing your login credentials (this is also a breach of the Terms of Use).
- Logging out of sessions on shared devices.
- Enabling any additional account-security features we offer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification. Ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure. Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction. Ask us to stop or limit the processing of your personal data.
- Objection. Object to specific processing of your personal data.
- Portability. Request transfer of your personal data to another organisation (or directly to you) in a structured, machine-readable format.
You can review and update most account information directly by logging in to your account. For anything else, contact us at [email protected]. We have one month to respond. If you believe we have not complied with applicable data-protection law, you also have the right to file a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Children's privacy
The services are not directed to anyone under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Third-party services
The platform may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. Review their own privacy policies before providing them with personal information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party site or service.
Cookies and tracking
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential. Required for core site functionality (session, authentication, plan-tier enforcement).
- Performance. Tell us which pages are visited most often and how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Functional. Remember your preferences (theme, default symbol, panel layout, language).
- Targeting. Used to deliver more-relevant advertising and to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may break features of the site.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it in line with our retention policies.
International users
The services are available globally. The information we collect may be stored and processed in the United States, the European Union, or any other country in which we or our service providers operate. By using the services you consent to the transfer of your information to those countries, which may have different data-protection laws from your country of residence. We take steps — including appropriate contractual safeguards — to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.
Third-party payment processors
Paid plans are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment providers. Card details and other payment data are submitted directly to those providers — we do not store full card data on our servers. Any information you submit to a payment processor is governed by that processor's own privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
We use third-party analytics and (in limited cases) advertising services to understand how the platform is used and to deliver relevant promotional content. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect data about your interactions with our site and other sites. You can manage your preferences for targeted advertising through your browser settings and through the opt-out tools provided by individual advertising networks.
User-generated content
If the platform exposes surfaces where you can submit content (comments, reviews, public scripts, feedback), the Terms of Use section on "User-generated content" applies. Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
Social-media features
The site may include features that integrate with social-media platforms (share buttons, embeds, etc.). These features may collect your IP address, the page you are visiting, and may set a cookie to function. Your interaction with those features is governed by the privacy policy of the platform providing them.
"Do Not Track" signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal that asks websites not to track your activity. The site does not currently respond to DNT signals, but you can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings as described above.
Data-breach notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate regulatory authorities as required by law, and we will take all reasonable steps to contain the breach, support affected users, and prevent recurrence.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the policy and post the updated version on this page. For material changes we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform before the changes take effect. Continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
