Profile

Profile fields — avatar, display name, email, TradingView name. Identity surface that controls how you appear in shared content and how invite-only TradingView studies are granted.

The Profile card on the Account page owns the four identity fields the rest of the platform needs:

  • Avatar — appears in the top toolbar, leaderboard, shared signals (when available).
  • Display name — used wherever you appear publicly (shared scripts, partner program, leaderboard).
  • Email — primary login + receipt destination.
  • TradingView name — required for the TradingView Indicators invite-only studies. Without it, granting access fails.

Avatar tips

  • Square images render best. The cropper will accept any aspect ratio but it auto-crops to a centred square.
  • Avoid pure-white backgrounds; in dark mode they look harsh.
  • Animated PNG / GIF not supported; only the first frame is used.

TradingView name pitfalls

  • Typo — invite emails go to TradingView's @nobody and you'll never see them. Triple-check spelling.
  • Public vs. username — TradingView shows both a display name and a @username. Enter the @username part (case insensitive).
  • Recently renamed — TradingView delays propagation by ~10 min. If invite fails immediately after a rename, wait and retry.

Multiple accounts

We do not currently support multiple email addresses per account. To switch identities (e.g. personal vs. trading-firm), sign out and sign back in under the alternate account.
